Outside of work, Amy is a keen runner with a love for adventure and the great outdoors.
Her long-distance running journey has taken her from winning a local marathon to a semi-elite start at an international race, and she’s even achieved the elusive negative split along the way.
Amy has completed ultramarathons on some demanding terrain, including a 100-mile stretch along the Thames Path, mountain trails in the Swiss Alps and circumnavigated the island of Jersey.
Amy loves to travel and first backpacked around the world aged 18. Over the years, she’s combined her love of exploration with her running goals, taking on races in far-flung places like Easter Island and proudly completing all six Abbott World Marathon Majors in just three years: London, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Boston and Tokyo. Along the way, she’s developed a keen eye for travel photography, and all the nature-based images on this site are her own original work.
These days, Amy embraces a gentler pace of life. She finds joy in tending her organic vegetable garden and exploring the world of herbal medicine through her amateur studies. Whether she’s out on a trail, camera in hand, or harvesting herbs from her garden, Amy brings a deep appreciation for nature, health and mindful living to all that she does.
